REALTOR® Relief Foundation Applications Now Accepted: Tornado Relief

 

The massive tornado outbreaks on December 11-12 devastated communities in Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, and Arkansas. Applications are now being accepted by the REALTOR® Relief Foundation.

Assistance is available to qualified applicants towards one of the following options:

1) Monthly mortgage expense for the primary residence that was damaged by the Tornado Disaster or;

2) Rental cost due to displacement from the primary residence resulting from the Tornado Disaster.

 

Relief assistance is limited to a maximum of $1,000 per applicant per household.

 

The deadline for application submission is February 28, 2022.

 

Please note this assistance is for housing relief only; other expenses including second mortgages(home equity lines or loans), personal loans, hotel/motel expenses, clothing, appliances, equipment, vehicle purchase, rental or repair, and or mileage are ineligible for reimbursement under this program.

Eligibility: The recipient must be a full-time resident and U.S. citizen or legally admitted for residence in the United States.

REALTOR® Relief Foundation Applications Now Accepted: Tornado Relief

 

Kentucky REALTORS® is proud to be working with the REALTOR® Relief Fund at the National Association of REALTORS® to make $1.5 million in Disaster Relief Assistance available to residents of Kentucky that were affected by the storms/tornadoes in December 2021. 

Please fill out the relief application form and return it (along with the requested documents) to Kentucky REALTORS® (kyrealtors@kyrealtors.com) to be considered for assistance. The recipient must be a full-time KY resident and U.S. citizen or legally admitted for residence in the United States.

Assistance is available to qualified applicants towards one of the following options:

1) Monthly mortgage expense for the primary residence that was damaged by the Disaster or;

2) Rental cost due to displacement from the primary residence resulting from the Disaster.

The Obion County Fair Association, in appreciation of 64 years of support from the citizens of Obion County, has donated $10,000 to start a donation account at Security Bank and Trust in Union City using their non-profit (501c3) status to benefit ALL OBION COUNTY TORNADO VICTIMS.  

The name on the account is OBION COUNTY TORNADO RELIEF FUND, and please verify the account with the last two account numbers, which are 57.
